Understanding a memory recommendation

Protection precedes reduction.

Memory pressure and incomplete OOM evidence need careful treatment. A recommendation should explain the measured demand, what is protected and what remains unknown. CPU and memory can have different outcomes.

What to do next

Check whether the proposal increases or decreases the request, review the observed revision and inspect any pressure-related explanation. Review the evidence for each resource dimension separately.
